The recent free mental health evaluation held at Adarsh Ashram, Itki Ranchi, was a compassionate initiative by Nerve and Mind Clinic aimed at reaching out to one of society’s most vulnerable populations. The ashram houses a unique mix of elderly individuals and destitute souls—many of whom were found wandering the streets of different cities, lost both physically and mentally. This camp provided a lifeline to these individuals, offering them the dignity and care they deserve. Our team of specialists conducted thorough mental health evaluations, focusing on diagnosing conditions such as dementia, depression, anxiety, and trauma-induced disorders. The residents, often forgotten by society, were given personalized attention to understand their emotional and cognitive health. For many, it was the first time in years they received compassionate care. The camp aimed not only to assess their conditions but also to provide pathways for treatment, ensuring these individuals are not left to suffer in silence any longer.
