The “Training for Updating Knowledge” camp held at Main Road, Ranchi, was an essential initiative by Nerve and Mind Clinic to equip doctors and counselors with the tools to better handle the psychiatric complexities they often encounter. It is well-documented that many patients visiting healthcare professionals suffer from psychiatric morbidity, particularly affective disorders, anxiety, and substance abuse. However, despite the prevalence of these conditions, many healthcare providers find themselves ill-equipped to address the specific needs of these patients effectively.
This training camp aimed to bridge that gap by providing updated knowledge and evidence-based practices to doctors and counselors. By focusing on the latest advancements in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, we empowered medical professionals to offer more comprehensive, informed care to their patients. Through practical sessions and expert-led discussions, the camp emphasized the importance of recognizing psychiatric symptoms early and addressing them with a compassionate, informed approach, ensuring patients receive the holistic care they need for recovery and well-being.
